After a lot of thought I decided to once again create an Asian Community. Ive done this in the past yet it wasn’t very successful due to my lack of attention towards it. This time I expect to have at least 3 months during the launch of the site. During this time I will be able to do full blown marketing campaigns and hopefully bring many active members to the site.

When starting any online community or forum the most important factor to keep it going is to make sure the members stick around. Also NEVER make promises to your members that you are unable to keep. This includes site features, contests, etc. This is because if you can’t keep your promises you will have many unhappy members, which will discourage new members to sign up and current members to leave.

After considering all aspects of starting this community, within the last year I decided to go through with it. Hopefully it is a success =).

Recently we added a new category to our blog where we will update it with graphics we have created for our clients. Yesterday we received a request for a logo design for a new upcoming site. Below is the logo we created for him.

As stated in a previous post we are now happy to announce our forum is now open. HpkMedia’s forum is a place for individuals to receive support for our products or services. It is also a place where people may discuss related topics such as web 2.0, internet, websites, domains, and more. Feel free to stop by and say hi. After a few months of thinking it over I decided to start offering web hosting for my clients. I created many different packages to meet many different needs. As far as the control panel I choose the one I personally use which is “DirectAdmin”. I choose DirectAdmin for its user friendly interface and features. It is far less complex then cpanel, yet it is still just as powerful. For example some of the shared hosting accounts I am offer are below:

I am also offer reseller hosting for people that want to start their own hosting business. The hosting market is of course saturated but if you do pick a niche market or you simply want to host a couple of sites for friends this is for you.

Another thing I decided to do was to offer “Free” hosting. HpkMedia’s free hosting packages are limited to one domain/website. This is perfect for a personal web page or blog.

Hello everyone I am back! I just wanted to let everyone know I am going to start giving everyone business and website ideas! This will be addition to the current blog posts I will be making. Hopefully I can help inspire new webmasters to create their own sites and businesses. Please check back soon when I present the first website and business ideas.

I am happy to present CarDriven.com. I have created this site because my love for cars. I want to first focus on the forum and work my way up. Originally I was going to target a car area. For example something like “Honda”. But, I later decided to make it a very general car forum. Later on I hope to add car reviews, articles, videos etc. I will want to have a good community base before doing all of that. Marketing will be crucial due to all the other car & automotive related sites out there.

Dexurl.com is no longer just a directory. The directory has been moved onto a sub-domain to make room for the new idea. I got this idea mainly from the site Digg.com. I told myself why not make a site where people can submit there sites and other people can vote for them. This would be a great way to show how popular a website really is. This would also bring more traffic to the webmasters sites as where a directory link is mainly for the purpose of building PageRank.

One problem does remain I must figure out a way to integrate the forum and the new main site. This will obviously make it easier for the users of the site. Until I figure that all out I wont start advertising it but I will be building the links for it as always =).

I hope this turns into one of my favorite projects of all time as I am extremely excited about it!

I have been working on Hutsy.com for about a month now and it’s doing fairly well considering I didn’t spend that much time doing much with the site. It has many indexed pages with Google, yet with Yahoo and MSN it is not being indexed very well. Currently its making anywhere from $3-$18 a day just with AdSense which I would say is good revenue for how long the site has been up. Once the pagerank update happens I will make the directory a “paid” one and that should bring me some extra cash. Anyhow I am happy with my results from simply link building. Everyday its becoming more and more of an interesting project..
